Grant-bio Combi-spin PCV-2400 is a benchtop, combined microcentrifuge/vortex mixer for spin-mix-spin applications involving 0.2, 0.5, 1.5 to 2ml microtubes (or 8-well microtube strips using an accessory rotor). Can be used as a separate centrifuge, mixer, or concurrently. Ambient operating temperature range: +4 to +45°C.
Fixed speed 2400rpm. Tubes are spun simultaneously, then removed for individual mixing in the vortex cup which protrudes from an opening in the closed lid (safety interlock will not allow operation when the lid is open). Further tubes can be spun whilst individual tubes are vortexed. Suitable for continuous use up to 60 minutes or short spin.
